TREES FOR CITIES REPORT

In 2019 Natusan teamed up with UK charity Trees for Cities to celebrate our first 1,000 UK customers.

As well as sourcing all of our litter from by-products of the timber industry, so no trees are felled in the making, we also committed to planting 1,000 saplings in the 2019/20 planting season.

A year later and we’ve got a handy report from our friends at Trees for Cities detailing where our trees were planted, and what this means for the local communities.

Trees for Cities really know their stuff, they have been planting trees and revitalising green spaces in towns and cities across the UK for over 26 years, and they always work with local communities in doing so.

On 30th November 2019, 481 local volunteers including 69 children braved the cold to help plant 7,700 saplings in what was one of the biggest turnouts in Trees for Cities' history. The vast majority of all trees at Beckton District Park South were planted on this day, including the 1,000 trees funded by Natusan. The day was a great success and inspired enthusiastic feedback from the local community!
